Welcome 2012

Welcome to Humanities! This is a semester long course designed to help you study art, music, literature, and architecture.  This course will focus on the appreciation of these elements.

As a general outline, our course will cover Color Properties & Symbolism, Ancient Cultures, American Music Appreciation, Film Appreciation, Art Movements from the Middle Ages to the Present.

Expected supplies for this course are a spiral to take notes, a binder or folder to keep hand-outs, and a glue stick.  You will also be asked in the film unit to provide one black poster board, which doesn't need to be brought with you until the unit is started.

Also, if you haven't turned in your syllabus, have it printed and signed so you can watch movie clips during the film unit!

First due date revised

I didn't look at my calendar correctly, the due date for the permission slips and crayons is January 27th, not February 3rd.  It is two weeks from now on a Friday. Thanks!
